The most common diabetes is diabetes mellitus. It is caused by the lack of or insufficient insulin (the hormone produced by pancreas). If there is not enough insulin in the body then the body cannot regulate the sugar levels, and unable to process glucose. This causes high levels of glucose in the blood and low energy.
Two types of diabetes type I and type II. Type I usually strikes those ages under 35 and Type II those aged 40 and there is also an association with pregnancy and obesity.
There is natural ways of dealing with diabetes through hers, supplementation, and essential oils.
ESSENTIAL OILS
Essential oils of Coriander, cinnamon and fennel are of great help for balancing sugar. It helps your body respond more efficiently to the insulin.
For type II diabetes cinnamon can be of great help. It contains calcium, chromium, copper, iodine, iron, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, and vitamins A, Bi, B2, and C, many wich are important in treatment of diabetes.
Diffusing in the air several times a day in the oil warmer or cold air diffuser (the best) about 8 drops in 2 table spoons of water 20 min 3 times a day. Can do the same with corriander.
Also rubbing cinnamon essential oil to the soles of the feet, not anywhere else, cause it is skin irritant, is another great way of delivering cinnamon to your system. Soles of the feet is the one of most permeable parts of our body, so it is the first place where essential oils should be applied if seeking therapeutic treatment for any ailment.
You can apply 2 to 3 drops of pure cinnamon essential oil mixing it with 2 to 3 drops of carrier oil and massage only the soles of the feet. Do not get it on other parts of the body. If burning or irritation occurs dillute cinnamon essential oil more or discontinue use.
HERBS
There were studies done on cinnamon and type II diabetes that showed if consuming about 2g of cinnamont a day can help reverse diabetes. Before starting supplementation, please advise with your doctor.
Well known herbs such as garlic, onions, coriander and cinnamon are great for reducing blood sugar levels Ensure that you have plenty in your diet or take supplements.
Fenugreek and Stevia are great for controlling blood sugar levels also and should be drunk daily in the form of tea.
Stevia extract is a natural sweetener that should be used instead of sugar or honey. It has no calories and does not have side effects of the processed sugar or other sugar substitutes. It also increases glucose tolerance and helps bring normalcy in your sugar fluctuations.
VITAMINS AND MINERALS
Brewers yeast contains chromium, which helps to normalize blood sugar levels and its metabolism. Taking 2 tablespoons a day is recommended.
B vitamins are known for supporting pancreas function.
MSM is known for promoting insulin production.
